My tendency is wanting the external picture
"picture perfect".
 The flesh desires for others to draw great conclusions. When on the inside choas reigns.

Oh, if I could only
have the vision of my Saviour;
~~~
for the LORD seeth not as man seeth;
for man looketh on the outward appearance,
but the LORD looketh on the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7
~~~
Sin always dims the vision of HIM.
~~~
Lord, create in me a clean heart
wash the dirt and sin away,
so I can see you at work more clearly
in my life.
~~~
Resting in HIM,
Karen

water drops keep falling on my head....

Remember, the old song?

"Rain drops keep falling on my head"

We were ever so glad to see
 the clouds & rain yesterday.

The above tool "friend" has become so dear to me.
It is just one of the many things which has taken me away from
the keyboard the past weeks.

The hibiscus enjoyed the refreshment.
This bloom opened this morning.

The stone pots on the deck have been filled
 with sun loving plants and are showing their colors brightly.

A close-up view of the marigolds with raindrops on the petals.

Yellow by the way is my favorite color. :)

These salmon colored geraniums along with white ones
fill the window box outside the dining room window.
Such enjoyment to see through the window.

You can see a snip-it of the window box from this view.

It's amazing, how Our Creator's water satisfies them
so much better than the water from my water hose.

My husband & I planted a herb pot.
This is our first year to plant herbs.
We are enjoying the mint, lavender, rosemary
and the other herbs.  I added a little color with the
marigolds and ivy in the front.
  The ivy has not begun to
trail down the side.
  But, will add a nice touch when it does.

I know!  I must prune or get busy cooking!
One of the two, because the herb pot has gone wild!

A hanging basket which hangs from the gazebo.

I have planted eight hydrangeas in the back of the house.
(with help from son & sweetheart)
This bloom held on for sooooo long.
I had to share my bargain!

The nursery had the 3 gallon pots marked down to $5.
They were not sure of the colors, two had pink blooms.
I can't wait to see what the others will do.
  But, who knows - depends on the soil!
So I'm so excited about having fresh flowers on the table,
as well as drying a few.

I have enjoyed a few breaks out on the deck.
But, our summer has been quite busy,
with sports for the youngest,
company & watering!

Hope you are enjoying the summer!
